Jack FM radio interview

Felicity spoke to Jordan at Jack FM about how the charity, Occtopus, Oxford Colon Cancer Trust helped her through her journey to recovery.

Occtopus - Oxford Colon Cancer Trust

Following her own diagnosis of bowel cancer, and successful treatment last year, she is delighted to be supporting the Oxford Colon Cancer Trust (Occtopus - Oxford Colon Cancer Trust), a local charity which funds research and equipment to advance the treatment of colorectal cancer.

Occtopus was an early funder for the equipment used in her surgery - a robotic anterior resection - a (relatively!) minimally invasive procedure which meant she could be up on her feet and back to doing the things she loves really quickly afterwards.

Through sharing her story, she hopes to be able raise awareness (and money) for Occtopus so that they can continue their work to improve treatment outcomes for people like her, as well as raising awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer.

You can find a link to her story on the Occtopus website here, as well as a link to her Occtopus JustGiving page below.
